Jesus on the Cross
Jesus on the Cross

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”

Good Friday is where these words become real.

This is not gentle, easy love.

This is love that bleeds.

Love that stays.

Love that pays the full price.

God did not send Jesus to condemn youHe sent Him to rescue you

The cross is not God pointing a fingerIt is God opening His arms

On Good Friday, Jesus took what we deservedso we could receive what we never could earn.

That is the weight of John 3:16That is the heartbeat of verse 17

The Reality

The cross tells us two things at the same time

Sin is serious

And God’s love is greater

The Invitation

Whoever believes

No status required

No past too broken

No life too far gone

Just come

Prayer

Jesus,

Thank You for the cross

Thank You for loving me when it cost everything

Help me receive what You have done

and not turn away from it

Change my heart

Draw me closer to You

And teach me to live in Your grace

Amen
